The Katas of Judo

We at Akitas Judo Club follow many different kata, including the seven recognised by the Kodakan. In an effort to demonstrate these, we will be listing the technique names and eventually add descriptions and videos. Initially these may be from different sources until we get the opportunity to video our own members. As ever, all comments are welcome and I hasten to add that most katas do have intense discussion on their accuracy - those listed are only what Akitas practice to. After all, kata should be an artform showing own-interpretation.
